Epta Piges, or Seven Springs, offers a refreshing escape into a lush, wooded valley in the eastern part of Rhodes. This popular trail leads visitors through pine trees and past the seven natural springs that flow into a small lake. A unique highlight is the 186-meter-long dark tunnel through which water flows; adventurous hikers can walk through it to reach the reservoir. The area is cool even in June, providing a natural sanctuary from the Mediterranean sun. You may spot peacocks, ducks, and rare freshwater fish in the streams. The terrain is relatively easy and well-shaded, making it perfect for families and casual walkers. The sound of running water creates a serene and tranquil atmosphere throughout the hike.

Visitor tips
If you are claustrophobic, use the alternative walking path over the hill instead of the narrow water tunnel.
