Dr. Shakshuka is an iconic eatery located in the heart of the Jaffa Flea Market. Founded by Bino Gabso, the restaurant specializes in Tripolitanian cuisine and, most importantly, various types of Shakshuka served in hot iron pans. The interior is decorated with hundreds of hanging antique lanterns and copper pots, giving it a warm, domestic feel. Beyond eggs and tomatoes, they serve incredible spicy sausages and hand-rolled couscous. It is a staple of the Israeli culinary scene and has been featured on numerous international food shows. It's a great place for a hearty lunch while exploring the vintage shops of Jaffa.
