Κάτω Μύλοι

Κάτω Μύλοι

The iconic white windmills of Mykonos are perhaps the most recognized landmark of the Cyclades. Located on a hill overlooking Little Venice, these 16th-century structures were used to grind grain using the island's strong winds. Today, they stand as a monument to the island's agricultural past and offer one of the most famous photo opportunities in Greece. The seven windmills at Kato Mili are beautifully maintained and face the sea, catching the golden light of the afternoon. Visitors can walk around them and enjoy the panoramic views of the harbor and the Aegean Sea. The atmosphere is quintessential Mykonos: windy, bright, and incredibly picturesque. It is a favorite spot for sunset viewing.
