Rodini Park is believed to be one of the oldest landscaped parks in the world, dating back to the Roman era. It is located just a few kilometers from Rhodes city center and offers a cool, shaded sanctuary filled with oleanders, plane trees, and cypress. A small stream runs through the park, home to ducks and the famous Rhodian peacocks that wander the paths. The park features ancient rock-cut tombs, including the Tomb of the Ptolemies, carved into the hillside. It is a favorite spot for locals to escape the summer heat and enjoy a quiet walk. The atmosphere is nostalgic and slightly wild, as nature has reclaimed much of the ancient stonework. It is best suited for families and anyone looking for a peaceful nature walk near the city.
